Today I had a friend of mine take me to Manhattan. I’m actually shopping for engagement rings. Yes, I’m ready to take the big leap and that’s what brought me to visit countless jewelry stores in Manhattan. I saw so many of them that I had to take a look on Wikipedia. I was astonished to learn that there are about 2,600 businesses in the Diamond District alone, that deal with diamonds and other fine pieces of jewelry!

I haven’t made up my mind yet on what I’m getting my lady. The problem is that what I like, I can’t afford and what I can afford, I don’t like. I’m afraid I’m gonna hae to save up some more to get the ring that I feel she really deserves. In any case, I know there’s nowhere else I’ll be shopping for that ring but Manhattan.
